According to multiple reports, Western Kentucky University assistant coach Ben Hansbrough has resigned following a week arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Bowling Green Daily News:
Hansbrough left his post Monday “to pursue other opportunities,” Zach Greenwell, WKU associate director of athletic media relations, confirmed to the Daily News.
Hansbrough was arrested Saturday night on a charge of driving under the influence.
Hansbrough, 29, was processed through the Warren County Jail at 8:43 p.m. Saturday and released at 4:16 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $1,000.
