Here’s a press release from IUPUI:
INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI junior forward Evan Hall has been named Horizon League Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday (Feb. 19). The 6-foot-7 Kentucky-native posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots in the Jaguars’ 76-71 overtime road victory at Milwaukee on Friday night (Feb. 16).
It was Hall’s second double-double of the season and fourth of his collegiate career. His 20 points were one shy of matching his career-high while he grabbed double-digit boards for the eighth time in his IUPUI career. In addition, his four blocked shots set a new career-high.
Hall connected on 10-of-15 field goal attempts as he led the Jaguars in scoring for the first time this season. He also collected two steals and an assist in the win.
Hall is IUPUI’s first Horizon League Player of the Week this season and the junior is averaging 7.8 points and 6.0 boards per game this season. He also leads the Jaguars with 21 blocked shots for the year.
