Former Floyd County Central star Brady Conn has transferred to Wesley Christian School in Allen, Kentucky.
Conn is one of the players who left the Floyd Central program due to controversy with head coach Kevin Spurlock.
“Brady has been a force in the region and even state being one of the top rebounding players and you don’t accomplish those things by being an average player,” said Wesley Christian head coach David Meddings. “He fits a need we have and although he’s going to have to adjust, will get an opportunity to play against future D1 and pro players.”
Meddings is excited to add the 6-foot-6 Conn to the Circuit Riders roster.
“He has all the intangibles to compete here,” Meddings added. “He can rebound obviously but he can shoot the ball well and sets elite high level screens. His main goal is playing in college and helping us win a national title. We are very happy to have him on our team and not someone else’s. Great kid and teammate.”
Wesley Christian will play in Florida at the Nature Coast Tournament next week, before heading to Paducah for a battle against a top 10 Prolific Prep (Cal.) team. They then return home on January 8th to play Aspire Academy (KY).
